Switch No Golden Coconuts in Island Trader Shop

After the 1.6 update on console, I noticed the Golden Coconuts are no longer available at the island trader. On the Wiki, it says they are supposed to be part of the fixed stock. I have broken open a golden coconut on my current farm.

I'm experiencing this problem too, I cracked open one I foraged but that didn't fix

Also having this issue! Sucks because I only need the fossilised skull to complete the tent too. I have cracked three open since too.

Same problem here. My wife plays on switch and even after cracking another golden coconut she can't buy them from the trader.

-reloading day
-revisting island
All didn't work

i had this happen to me on switch, too, but i did find a 1.6 workaround to get around this to get more coconuts and eventually get the skull (my last tent item!):

foraging mastery item treasure totem duplicates dig spots, i used a few at the dig site. took me about 10 more coconuts.

Having this issue as well, even though I can get them as a random spawn from coconut trees, they don’t appear in the shop.

Also having this problem with the latest Switch version (1.6.9.37). Have cracked several foraged golden coconuts but still not getting the option from the island trader.

(and, like you all have said, I still need that skull fossil!)

So what I'm reading is that I may as well pause my 1.6 playthrough until CA and team get around to patching the game. Trophy issues, golden coconuts, volcano bugs, etc. etc. etc.

Disappointing. I hope fixes for all of these issues are in active development. It wouldn't be ideal to have to wait months and months again

I am having the same issue of not being able to buy golden coconuts from the island trader, just on Switch. I’ve been on the island for over a season now, cracked a golden coconut already, but they are still unavailable. I’m afraid I won’t be able to finish the game on any play through now.

I'm also having this issue. And out of curiosity, I booted my older save file from prior to 1.6 update...and no golden coconuts available, even though I had previously unlocked them.
