Hmm…this is very plausible. But you also spent all day and night killing yourself working on the farm and collapsed before you made it into bed or before you made it into the bed having some random person drag your half dead or maybe mostly dead (if you were mining) carcass into your home and to your bed while she was busy with the fussy baby. She knew what she was getting into. She was going to be the full time parent (unless she escaped to ginger island or somewhere in the valley that day leaving helpless starving baby home alone all day until she went to bed after poor starving baby cried himself to sleep by 7pm, and she actually really did nothing all day ) and you the sole breadwinner.

It’s funny. I’ve had saves where my in game husband takes forever to ask (one save where he never asked ) and others where we had Irish twins.
